If you read the media outlets coverage of tech and startups you see cookie-cutter mold of what people think a tech or startup company should be. It often includes make-believe concepts, make believe revenue, etc which is just not how most of the real world lives and dreams.
Thus, why not do things in a different manner? Call it a journey of re-awakening. Just because incubators increase the odds of a medium-sized to big-hit in startup asset valuations does not than translate to the whole group of people must do a startup. We have forgotten the normal small business creation mode of which the startup movement grew out of.
